Habits are routines of behavior that are repeated regularly, they tend to occur subconsciously without directly thinking consciously about them. Habits can often go unnoticed by a person because it is often unnecessary to self evaluate when doing routine tasks. Habituation is a simple form of learning where after a period of exposure to a stimulus, they stop responding to that stimulus in varied manners.

Smoking and negative thinking are very overpowering habits. The way you think can also be habit forming. Self confidence can also be changes by forming a new habit of the way you think about yourself. Self confidence is the difference between feeling unstoppable and feeling scared out of your wits. Your perception of yourself has an enormous impact on how others perceive you. But making a new habit to give yourself compliments every day and changing your posture can do a lot for you.

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words, and images that are conductive to growth, and success. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health, and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Whatever the mind expects, it finds. Negative thoughts bring up negative and unhappy moods and actions. When the mind id negative poisons are released into the blood, this causes more unhappiness and negativity.

The dangers of having a smoking habit are great, but so are the benefits of quitting smoking. Most smokers are aware of the dangers yet smoke anyway. The addiction is psychological; they love nicotine very much and have the misunderstanding that nicotine is not allowing them to quit smoking. The answer has an environmental trigger; it switches on when picking up the phone, getting in the car, after meals.
